When I have a camera in my hands, a fascinating transformation occurs in me, although the reason remains that of a scientist, my heart becomes that of an adventurer, my eyes that of an artist, and my responsibility that of an educator and conservationist.

Each image that I share with the public is not an individual achievement, I am only in charge of telling the last part of the story behind it. On the contrary, it is the result of a great collective effort, where family, friends, researchers, institutions, students or local people who deserve to be always recognized participated at any moment of its conception. Behind a photograph, there are always many actors involved.
